Once a new tyre has worn down 85% of its tread rubber on the crown area, it is recommended that it be removed for retreading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyre retreading significantly reduces the environmental impact,\u00a0compared to manufacturing new tyres,\u00a0by conserving resources, lowering emissions, diverting waste from landfills and enabling recycling of materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City Retread, established in 2002,&nbsp;is part of Mandela Group which has&nbsp;world-class retreading&nbsp;equipment&nbsp;from Italy&nbsp;and&nbsp;provides&nbsp;high-quality retreading services.
